Heartfelt Thanks

I would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to some special people who have made a dream come true for me.  Since I began this phenomenal journey of holistic healthcare, there was always a strong desire to share with others the experiences and lessons I was learning along the way.  The best means to accomplish that was to have my own website.  Since I had no idea how to go about doing that, I simply asked God to make that happen!

As always, God does things in a perfect way, at the perfect time.  I really didn’t worry about how or when the website would materialize.  I actually rarely thought about it at all because I knew it would happen at the right time.  I knew also that the Creator would send the right people to help me achieve this goal.  And He did!

In 2004, I was doing a Presentation at a local library, speaking on the topic of How to Heal Yourself.  Afterwards, people were waiting to speak with me and all had questions about the information I had shared and how it could apply to their lives.  At the end of the line was a man named Dale Thomas.  He waited his turn and eventually, we began to talk.  As our conversation came to an end, he offered me his business card.  I glanced at it and below his name were the words, Web Design!  And so it began, the perfect person at the perfect time, to help create my beautiful website.  It didn’t happen overnight.  Dale first had to know me and understand my vision and the messages I wanted to share.  He listened, and understood and eventually, the site was created and we were suddenly ‘live’!  It was wonderful.  Dale gave willingly of his time and talents to create the site, and for three years, maintained it for me.  The plan was to do this for as long as I needed his services.  But as the saying goes, “If you want to make God laugh, make plans”.  All of a sudden, Dale had a new job which involved traveling 5 out of 7 days a week, leaving me with no one to maintain my site.  I was sad and suddenly concerned that the day might come when I may have to pull the plug on this important aspect of my work.

I began to wonder if it would be possible to find someone else with the same qualities who would actually care about this project.  Could I be that lucky twice? Ah, but not to worry!  God had another plan!  Along came Bruce Lawrence, and just like Dale, he is kind, patient and very talented.  He too, listened and came to know what I was about and understood my message.  Since we were starting over with a whole new web designer, we decided to create a new web design!  So, step by step, Bruce went over every page and painstakingly recreated the Transitions site with a fresh new look, new features and new technology.  It was a bit scary at first letting go of something I loved and felt comfortable with, but I soon realized that starting over can be exciting!  It was still my site, my words but a whole new look!  Bruce did a fabulous job and just as I loved my original design, I now love my new one and get excited whenever I visit the site.  How blessed am I to have had, not one, but two wonderful designers to create and maintain my site.  Thank you God!

Another person who has been extremely helpful in this endeavor is my daughter Jenni.   She has been a professional writer for many years.   She is a Communications Specialist, working in Public Relations, Speechwriting, Editing and has her own Communications business.  She holds a BA in English Literature, as well as a Masters Degree in Business..  Since I began my ministry many years ago, she has assisted me in creating my brochures and any other advertising projects.  She is a gifted wordsmith and has been very supportive of me, both personally and professionally.  Although I have written just about every word on my website, I have often asked her to review some of the work because what sometimes will take a page for me to convey a thought, she is able to say with clarity in a couple of sentences.   Again, I am truly blessed.

And of course, you wouldn’t be reading this without the help of my web host, Glenn Sippola who has kept everything running smoothly on the technical end of things and has come to my rescue many times over the years.  He too has been a gift to me! I have had the good fortune to have met Glenn who is a true professional and offers only the best services. I have been so pleased with how smoothly things run under Glenn's expert supervision. To learn more about Glenn and his company, visit FIN Systems for more information! Thank you so much Glenn, for everything you do and have done for me!

Although the person I am going to thank next has nothing to do with my website, he is most deserving of my gratitude. He is, without a doubt, the most important person in my life. My husband, my best friend, my life partner, father of my children, my beloved Denny. Without his devotion and support on every level, I simply could not do what I am doing. He is always there for me, helping, encouraging and in every way making things possible for me. He drives me to the places which are far away, or too dangerous for me to go to alone. He carries my table and supplies. He sits in the back of the room at almost every Presentation, cheering me on, and has upon request, assisted me with clients in the actual healing process. He is a wonderful husband, father to our 3 children and their spouses/partners, and grandfather to our 3 (soon to be 4!) grandchildren. In short, he is the love of my life. Thank you from my heart. I love you forever and always, Denny!! (see photos below)

I thank each of you for helping me maintain the level of accuracy, simplicity, spirituality and integrity that is so important to me.  Most of all, I want to thank the Creator of All That Is, for allowing me to serve Him in this ministry, and to be a voice for these messages.  I am honored, privileged and humbled to be on this path.
